how did you decide who to build with?

I'm stuck.
How much shopping around do I need to do before selecting a builder? I've really done nothing but need to get moving.
how did you decide who to build with? (I've never built before and need 2 townhouses)

2 Townhouses should be a walk in the park although assuming they are 2 storey it is unlikely you are going to find anyone of the national building groups be prepared to quote on it as it doesn't fit their simple box criteria.
If you let us know where the property is located we might be able to give you some options.

The biggest thing you need to consider is site costs. Secondly, no matter which builder you choose – you will find that you will always need to keep an eye on the development/construction.
