My wife and I love our property investing however none of our friends are interested at all! Everywhere I read talks about surrounding yourself with like minded people.
Does anybody know of any groups/ networks which meet in Adelaide? We would love to catch up with people who love talking about property as much as we do. Would be great to share ideas/ experiences.
Thanks for your help!
Hi and welcome aboard.
I know somersoft (another property forum) posts a thread about an Adelaide meet up every once and a while. Might be worth sussing out – just do a google search and you should be able to find it.

I am from Adelaide and am keen to learn as much as possible about property investing as possible. I have a couple of IP's already and know very well I haven't got them setup properly but I am happy with how they are progressing none the less.
I have put a separate post on here asking if any forum members know why it is that Adelaide gets overlooked by all the expos and seminars that travel the country. There is one, (Stuart Zadel's) seminar coming in July, but other than that, the big name investing gurus bypass us almost every time. So frustrating.
It would be lovely to get some interest back into Adelaide for sure so we don't have to travel interstate.
That's great thanks Jamie. I will go check it out now!
Yeah I couldn't agree any more Mikal! Its so disappointing when all the great looking seminars bypass Adelaide! Let me know if you ever come across anything which looks particularly good!
Don't worry – at least you're not from Canberra. We get overlooked by everyone and everything – unless you're into flowers (Floriade) or mass bogan gatherings (Summernats)

Stop your complaining Jamie. We allowed you the priviledge of looking after our politicians.

As Jamie mentioned, there is a usual Somersoft meet held in the CBD once a month (usually a Monday night). Check out the forums and get the info on specific date/time/location. It's always good to meet up with new people and find out more about their experiences.Derek wrote:Stop your complaining Jamie. We allowed you the priviledge of looking after our politicians.
Haha – I forgot about that lot – and what a privilege it is.
