hey all this is my first blog so please be patient :/….

ok im trying to get my affairs in order so i can start investing as im both keen to start investing and learning more about investing in property…

im living in mandurah wa (an hour south of perth)… so if someone could recommend a good broker in the perth or south west area specializing in investment properties and a good accountant in the area that would be willing to help me with a trust account that would reallybe appreciated…

thanks all and thanks in advance,
    ben

The tyranny of distance is no longer an issue these days. You can do all this on line. You'd be hard pressed to find better industry invested brokers than those in this forum.

Trusts are more of a legal issue than an accounting one. Terryw or Darryl (JTI) are your go to legal guys here. I'm sure they'll eventually wonder by.

Educational material: plenty of structured stuff here via McKnight's stuff. See the SHOP tab above.  I'm loathe to endorse anyone but his stuff is as good as any.

For the more advanced or adventurous PI there's options and vendor financing opportunities in the learning curve here also. I'm sure the boys here who specialise in that area would be happy to point you in the right direction.

I won't say good luck. That might jinx you and in this rather toxic debt laden world you'll need every bit you can get.

    Hi Ben,

Freckle is right….don't let distance reduce your choices of professionals that will assist you in moving forward.

My MB, who contributes to this forum, and my accountant are both interstate and everything is done by email and phone although it is a great excuse to get up to Queensland!

    No worries Ben.

I think there was a thread on the results program recently – if you do a search it should pop up.

    Talk soon
