Has anybody used the Property Investment Calculator @ http://www.propertyinvestmentsoftware.com.au?
They currently have a special for $89 (normally $258) using this link
It seems alright and would consolidate some of my excel spreadsheets but not quite sure if it is good value.
Please let me know if you have used the software or can recommend alternatives for similar price.

For $89 jump at it. Claim back GST and tax it'll be closer to $60 true cost. Take note though that like all modeling tools they're only as good as the inputs.siraitkenParticipant@siraitkenJoin Date: 2006Post Count: 41
I read some reviews on the somersoft forum and have bought it.
I'll be testing it tonight.

Not sure if it helps or not – but we've got a tool on our website that helps crunch the numbers on a deal. It's not as flash as the paid software out there but it's free. http://passgo.com.au/investment-property-analysis-tool.html

How do you claim back the GST freckle?FreckleBlocked@freckleJoin Date: 2012Post Count: 1,681markintownsville wrote:How do you claim back the GST freckle?
I'm assuming one is registered for GST if not I think you get a tax break on the total (incl GST) amount. One of the number crunchers here could clarify that though.jade88Participant@jade88Join Date: 2013Post Count: 1
Thanks Jamie – awesome calculator. Just downloaded it from your website!

Great spreadsheet. Could you please update it so 2013 is the first year and it goes past 2016 (say to 2020 to give us some room). Please update us here when the spreadsheet is updated.
