    Hi Guys

I am back in case anyone missed me.

Just in case anyone is thinking of buying or investing in Brisbane i can confirm we are still open for business.

We are back on line with power, phones and hot water after being out since Sunday last because of cyclone Issac, Oswald or Kevin ( i really can't remember) and hopefully all other Brisbane forum members are ok.

Bit of water damage our end and lots of trees down but at least we are all safe and can learn how to use a chainsaw at the weekend for the first time. What is the point in having 2 teenage sons if you can't put them to good use.

Anyway Brisbane is back up open for business, we are starting to dry out and fear not i will be back posting again quicker than you can safe "14 days finance clause on that Contract".

For those of you who have seen both Jac M and I in the Feb edition of the API magazine i can confirm that Jac is the better looking one of the 2 of us.

    Cheers

    Yours in Finance

Hahhaa!!!  Thank goodness you are ok Taylor.  I had started wondering if you guys had a family set of life vests, and dreading watching the news for fear of seeing you on your roof desperately grabbing for the rescue line of a helicopter wink

Yes they don't call it Chapel Hill because we are down on the flat that's for sure so ok on that side.

Stream we had in the front of the driveway some 60 metres form the house had never seen water in it until the weekend so more concerned whether my i could drive my car out.

No triple 0 calls needed here just felt like camping for a few days with no hot water and living out of an ezky.

Anyway as i say i am back and keen to retain my #3 hard earned spot on the posting ladder.

    Cheers

    G'Day Richard

It's good to hear that your safe and sound. I've been keeping an eye on the news – you guys up north have put up with a lot over the last few years when it comes to insane weather.

All the best and stay safe.

    Hi Richard

I'm also glad to hear you weathered the storm with minimal damage. On the bright side, bad weather helps you appreciate good weather!

    Regards,

    Tony

    Appreciate the warm wishes guys.

Further update just opened the front door and it is pelting down and storm on its way tonight.

Just what we need more rain.

Thank god i invested in an amphibious vehicle like the one on Top Gear.

    Cheers

Yes its good to see you are in one piece

I bet when the power goes out you really appreciate the value of air conditioning. I am glad the Brisbane escaped the worst of it. Good to have you back

Cheers Nigel Yes 33 degree days and 85% humidity aren't fun at the best of time.

Local supermarkets have run out of buckets for sale but not as concerning as the local coffee shops which have closed because they have no clean drinking water.

Thankfully we are not Bundaberg though.

    Cheers

And that is the reason I couldn't live up north. Humidity and I aren't exactly the best of friends.

Good to hear things are okay and slowly getting back to normal.

    Cheers

    Hi Richard,

I was thinking about you whilst watching the events up in Brisbane and I'm relieved you and the family are safe and well.

Fantastic to see you able to see the light side of things….

Which reminds me about our conversation during the sweltering heat just a week or two ago. If you remember I suggested you bring some of that miserable English weather back with you to cool things down……you do realize Richard I was only joking don't you…..? surprise

Great to have you back on a more regular basis on the forum mate.

Also, congratulations to you and Jac on the feature in the API….

It's good to hear that the flooding in Ipswich and Brisbane wasn't too bad. Unfortunately Bundaberg and my home town (Laidley) didn't fair so good.
