With all previous locations considered by the State Government for a 2nd airport being strongly opposed by the local council / residents, the Wyong council (Central Coast, NSW) has recently come out and put forward a request to have it !
Personally, i think It would be a great thing for the coast if it was to happen. The combination of the increased local employment and the super fast train link would be a real benifit to the current residents, not the mention the obvious flow on effect to property prices
Im originally from CC and think it would be great if the area got extra employment. I know many people that choose to live in the area but make the long trip to the City due to a lack of employment opportunities on the coast.
