Looking for finance broker who knows real estate investing

Hi iam looking for a finance broker who understands the real estate side and I can work with from overseas as iam currently living in Canada. Iam a Australian citizen and have one property already but would like to build up a port folio for future retirement. Would be appreciated

Just to clarify – what do you mean by the "real estate" side?
Are you looking for a broker that finances residential property? If so, that's the domain of most brokers in Oz – not sure if all have had experience dealing with expats though.

Are you intending to have involvement in selecting the property yourself? If so, do you plan to visit Australia to view properties before buying? If not, I guess you are talking about buying sight unseen, and/or using a buyer's agent.

You are a very lucky lad living in Canada as I had a month there mid year and loved every moment of it.
Just can't wait to go back.
Would you like to expand a little more on what are you wanting as Jamie mentioned most Brokers should have some knowledge of buying an investment property and in most cases some of us even own one two IP'S.
