    Hi All,

I'm looking at developing a Self Storage facility in an area that is growing rapidly.

My question is how do I Test the Waters?

I was thinking of doing a letter/flyer drop in peoples letter boxes, or putting and ad in the local paper stating " Self Storage Coming Soon' etc.

Contacting builders to recommend us to their clients (obviously for a fee/commission) etc, , doing the same with REAs but considering we will have it managed by a REA the completion might not be too keen ! sad

I'm trying to think of some ideas outside the square.

    Thanks In Advance.

    John

Any other self-storage in the area?

If so, speak to the owners see what sort of vacancy rates they have, waiting lists, which sizes are most popular and see what other bits of information you can glean from them.
