Admin might like to make this a sticky if others would like to add to the thread with their SS  and calc tools

A poster on another thread was looking for spreadsheet(s) tools to analyse IP mortgage payments. Doesn't seem to be many available so I thought I'd throw mine up that I've collected over the years.

They range from simple to complex. Use at your own risk.

Note: tax formula and stamp duty are out of date

if you have problems with these email me and I'll forward them direct

    Good thread.

Here's a spreadsheet we have on our website that some have found useful http://www.passgo.com.au/investment-property-analysis-tool.html

    Cheers

Not a spreadsheet but an interesting little web app my partner put me on to.

    "Hi all,

I have just done a mobile web for Australian Property Investor at:

    http://onewebforall.com

The purpose of this tool is help investors on calculate: stamp duty, mortgage repayment and especially cash flow analysis via their mobile.

Could you please do a review for it?

    Any comment is highly appreciated.

    Thanks much,

    Mobiweb"

I have no affiliations with Mobiweb, just thought it was a good app.

    Hi Propertyinvesting.com'ers,

This thread has peaked my interest, and I was wondering what method everyone uses to track their investment income & expenses?

I've knocked up a quick 6 question survey,  if you can give me 3 min of your time I'll post the results up here. Should be interesting.

Thanks Jamie. Did you design the spread sheet yourself or use a template?

If you get time it would be great to add your results to the survey. Only if you've got time though, I understand the "I need my finance before Xmas" rush.

    Cheers

For those that use the old fashion way(folders with tab sections)what do you have filed under each section

    eg Bank-interest accounts etc

    blah blah blah

if you need one of these <moderator: delete language> spreadsheets to determine whether a property is going to make you money or not, perhaps you should just put your cash in the bank and earn a safe 2%.

    just my 2 cents.

I suspect most of the successful investors here moved on from back of the knapkin financial modelling when they realised more sophisticated tools could make them more money. They'd be in the top 10% I would think. Just my $2 worth.

I agree. Thanks for such a great resource! A really great place to start for crunching the numbers for IP loan repayments.
