    Hi Everyone,

I have been absent from this site for sometime, but am now back.

My question is if I was interested in doing a dual occ or building in the backyard, what is the best way to find who the most likely demographic group would be if I was to build a small 2 bedroom unit. Also how do you cater for them apart from just knowing that they would prefer a 2 bedda?

Don't over analyse. Just check out how many DA's have been lodged in your council area for Granny Flats to see if your development will fall flat,

I usually ask Real Estate Agents about rental preferences when I renovate. For example carpet, tiles, floorboards, bath, shower, furnished, unfurnished.  Also look at what's for rent in your area.
