    Well we have just purchased our first IP!

    Now we need to find a property manager.

    Can anyone give recommendations for a PM in Byron Bay

    Hi Mick,

    Congrats!

    You're probably better off just interviewing 3 agents in the area, and finding one who is quick to return your calls, and that you feel you can work with. By interviewing a few you can get a feel for the kind of fees you are up for, and negotiate on those with the agent of your choice, if they happen to be more expensive.

    I have taken your advice and contacted 3 PM;s whilst their pricing is very similar their levels of enthusiasm varied greatly…..I will put it down to being Friday afternoon.

    Lets see what happens next week.

    Good luck in interviewing you candidates and do not forget to ask important questions such as how long he/she has been in the property management business, who will specifically manage the property on the daily basis,rent collection process, how they advertise property and etc.
