    Hi all,

I was strolling our block and saw a rather interesting place and wondered, "How do I go about making an offer on a place that is not on the market?"

Has anyone been on this path?

    Thanks.

Knock on their door and ask….

    Place something in their mailbox…

    Cheers

If you have access to PriceFinder or something similar you can see who owns the property (as they may not live there) and generally will have their address and phone number. Whether you are allowed to use that information or not I'm not sure.

If you think the owners live there then a letter in the mailbox would probably be ideal.

we have a friend in the real estate Biz and when ever we see a place we might like we ask him to find out if they are willing to sell, but we have found if they dont have it on the market and you ask they normally try and be greedy and ask for more than its worth :-(
