Can I ask anyones opinion on property in Mount Isa, Rental returns seem quite good and vacancy rate is at or below 1%> I'm currently looking at a couple of units. Any Thoughts would be appreciated
What attracts you to the area?
Have you researched the capital growth over the last 5-10 years?
What is the rental yield you would achieve on the property?
Is there population growth in the area?
What are the demographics of the area?
All these things are important to know before making an investment decision.

Email Me<1% vacancy rate is quite standard for a majority of areas….so i wouldn't invest in an area just based on that data alone.
+ which source do you get your vacancy rate from? each sources has a different method of measurement..

Personally I think it is a great place to invest. Plenty of potential in my opinion. I currently have two properties there and looking to buy a third hopefully before the end of the year.
