Anyone with experience subdividing?  I checked out costs involved today on the Brisbane City Council Website – is my understanding correct that in addition to approx. $5000 for code and impact assessable application fees, there is also a $26000 infrastructure charge as well for every additional lot one creates?  Just curious to know if it's a similar case with other city councils, especially in South East Qld.

I am also interested to know the costs, what about if it is just a reconfiguration of two lots and not crating a new lot? Is it then just the application fees?

Each Council will have its own professes, fees and charges for such activity.

Brisbane like many Council's allow Private Certification so why not just give a surveyor / town planner a call and get them to give you a quote of the costs involved in the area you are interested in.

    Cheers
