Hi Guys. We are looking at building another house on and subdividing our current property (which we have lived in for 12 years and have never rented out ).What would be the best option to avoid paying CGT or any other taxes that might be applicable. We will probably stay in the house we are now in and sell the new one off (as the new one will be smaller ) but if it means saving thousands in tax will would move into the new one and sell our current dwelling. Any thoughts.

    Thanks Paul
