Hi, we are looking at buying our  second investment property. This time we want to buy a block an place flats, however we have zero knowledge of what we are doing!. Blank blocks of any good size are hard to find, so I just wanted abit of info about putting flats on a block with an existing house.  If placing flats on a block do you need to deal with subdividing? Thanks

You don't have to subdivide if you plan to keep them all anyhow.

That said, check with council what they will allow on the block.  They might not allow what you are intending.
