I think that it is a very big problem that the industry professionals  such as Terry are finding it harder to navigate the new forum.  A lot of people come to the site and leverage their knowledge, and I do worry that if the site is tough for the professionals to use, they might be less readily available to respond to peoples' questions..

    Hi all,

Typing on an iPad, excuse any oddities!

With the active topics I've noticed that they are not segregated like they once were  in topic order. They seem to be in a list of what was talked about last, while this is good for any new items, if you are interested in a particular subject say "help needed"  you have to look through pages of everything to get a complete picture. Not so handy…..

I love the new site, but I would love to have this function back as it made for much easier navigating. If it still exists can you let me know how to get there ;) ?

    iPad slow going!

btw the smilies (emoticons) I dislike intensely! Sorry gang I love pretty much everything else!

Thanks again for letting us have our say!

    Cheers

    D

    Another tip,

When sending out the automatic emails to notify that someone has replied to a thread I would prefer it if the link to the thread is at the top of the email. Otherwise I have to scroll down to find it

    thanks

I also found that when typing on my iphone, in reply to a message on this forum, you type away and then it takes about 2 secs for the characters to appear on the screen. Doesn't seem to happen with other forums. And then the curser jumps around – which could be due to my fat fingers.

Hi team admin and team software,

I am finding it's quicker to carry out a google search for a forum topic than to use the search function at the top of the page.

Is this function still being developed ?

    Thanks.

I struggle with this aswell!! I thought maybe my phone was just getting slow but obviously not. It does make it difficult to post on the phone that's for sure.

I actually like the new style of email alerts because I can read the whole new post on the email without even clicking on the link.

    Hi Steve,

I agree with gpfstuff, I think it is a great change and very easy to navigate around. I also love the reward system which is as you say very easy to get hooked on.

Perhaps you should introduce the rewards system to the property investor training site so that even more posts are made and the community gets even more active.

    Regards

    David

After using the new site for several weeks now my overall opinion is that it is that of all the forums that I write on this is the worst in terms of setup. Software maybe.

I much perfer the set up of somersoft forum. Not the content (well content too) but the actual board softtware behind it.

    Hi Peter,

i was having the exact same troubles with my iPhone after the update! Was so frustrating for a while but I managed to get mine working! If you go into your iPhone settings and I think under the 'safari' tab you want to enable your cookies. I don't really understand all that but it seemed to work with me. I was having trouble with another site also so I knew it had to be my phone somehow. Let me know if it works.

I still find it very annoying the left and right of the webpage are blank. it's like it's centered on 50% width and it makes me have to scroll down the page sooo much.

    Hi guys,

Just a quick question about the new site, apologies if it has been already covered.

I liked being able to scroll down the 'recent posts/activity' section of the old site and there was no limit to the age of the 'recent posts' if that makes sense. They just came up chronologically. The new one shows a few recent posts but I find it difficult to see what's been going on without having to go into the actual sections ie 'Help needed'. Does that make sense? Sometimes I just want to check out the new stuff without actually knowing what section I'm looking for.  Maybe I'm missing something.

    Rusty.

    Hello Guys,

I am new on this forum and I very much like it. If you ask me about what do it think about the site, I should say it is brilliant. It is not like the usual forum theme I visit.

Hello people. I haven't seen a forum as unique as propertyinvesting. The white look makes it more clean and very easy to scan/search threads though I have not seen its previous look.

    Hi Admin,

I was just wondering whether a glossary of acronyms was ever developed to assist the site and it's users ?

        Thanks.
