I am wishing to remove an internal brick wall within my strata title apartment. The apartment block is 3 storeys and I live on the top floor. The floor is a concrete slab and the roof ceiling joists run parallel with the external brick wall. I am looking for recommendations for a Builder or Structural Engineer in Melbourne who can 1) Provide certified evidence that the wall is either load bearing/not load bearing and 2) Advise if a Building or Planning Permit would be needed if I was able to remove the wall.
Has anyone else had a good experience with a Builder or Structural Engineer?
