I am looking at a property in Mackay that requires renovation. The property val is approx $360 and needs a $35k reno. Kitchen upgrade, new carpet, paint and minor repairs. I am located in Victoria and and have factored in travel into the deal but it would help to have someone on the ground to help keep to reno schedule. I have reno'd a few times previously in Victoria and done some of the work myself. Never done a reno interstate before.
Anyone do this type of work in Mackay?

Have you already sussed out local property managers? They're often in the know when it comes to tradies in their area. Perhaps find a good property manager and ask them if they could coordinate on your behalf. It would be a lot of work for them – and outside of their normal scope, so some sort of payment will probably be requested.
