    Hi All,

Looking to buy this fibro home neat parramatta, asking is 530k for 600 sqm land. most brick homes as well 100k asking more that fibro home in the area.

i want to live in the house and the condition looks really nice. i read most old posts abt Fibro home and mention about asbestos, when renovating the home.

i would like to live in it for 10 years or so, without doing any work and after that either rent it or Knock down rebuilt.

it a ok to buy a fibro home and live in one? or I should stay away from it, from living perspective…

In terms of living – the asbestos should only be hamful if tampered with. So as long as you're not ripping out walls in wet areas, etc it shouldn't pose an issue.

    Cheers
