    Hi everyone,

    Looking to get our jarrah floorboards polished in the living room and 3 bedrooms.

    I am in Perth north of the river and was wondering if anyone knows of a company that can do this cheap?

    Any feedback on this is much appreciated!

    Daniel have u tried the website serviceseeking.com? Or gum tree?

    Usually rates in Perth Vary from $22-30/sqm

    I used a guy from A1 something, based in willetton and was happy with his job and rate. Tell him Emma & Ely recommended him. Otherwise find cheap tradies using those other websites, just be sure to ask for references or if u can visit last job.

    Daniel – I gave you the wrong referral, oops!!! I used Superior Floor Sanders, a guy called Mike. oops. Have just booked him in for another job. If you're still looking for someone let me know and I can PM you his mobile number. He gave me a great quote for the repeat job and I was happy with his work from the first job.

    Those prices seem really good. I just spoke with a business in Canberra and he told me to budget around $60 – $70 per m2.

    Really???!? So high? Maybe his price also includes supply and install of quarter rounds or beading?

    Wow $60 or $70? That’s so expensive, I’m still waiting for my quote to come back. If its that high I would faint! Lol

    Yeah I thought it was a bit rich – considering we had an IP carpeted for around $30m2. I guess the difference here is that it's our PPOR and we don't mind paying for quality – however, this still seems a bit excessive. If anyone knows of any Canberra sand/polish companies I'd love to know their details.
