Over the past year and a half i have been in the process of moving the boundary of our old house block and also selling the house.

At the end of April 2011 The surveyors had completed what they needed to do and had lodged the new boundary plans and forwarded my details to my conveyancer.

At this stage the house was on the market and a contract of sale was signed in July with settlement at the end of september. At this stage we had agreed on a longer settlement under to advice of my conveyancer to give her time to get it all done.

This all completely failed to happen. Actual settlement happened december 30th. After some research i have found that she had done pretty much nothing until october when I was complaining to her boss.

The extra months of waiting for settlement has cost us money (we were living in our new house waiting for the money to lower are mortgage), caused plenty of stress since we were living on credit cards until this settlement went through and also made it impossible to renovate our new house due to no money.

Now finally I have found that she failed to let council and sa water know about the sale of the property so now i have to sort that out.

At this point i cant see any stage where she did her job reasonably and want her held responsible.
Whenever i speak to her she blames everyone else which through checking up i know is all lies.
Is there someone i can report her too or any advice you people in the know can give as to how i should handle this. cheers.
