Stocks & Property Combined Strategy

Hey all,
I know that this forum is mostly about property investing. And I agree that property investing can be a major vehicle to wealth.

But I also know that stock investing can get me further along my wealth goals too, and I've been reading up on the latest trends and tips from websites like this: http://www.bigpondmoney.com.au/investing/markets-shares – trying to get my head around stock investing too.

Just wondering, do any of you use a creative, combined strategy with stocks and property investing?

For instance, using equity in your IPs to invest in stocks, etc. I've read of this strategy, but haven't applied it myself.
