I was a bit bored at work and stumbled upon this site.
Having been a bit slack for way too long, I have decided to get serious about the future and I am looking to buy another investment property.  I'm working in the Pilbara in the Gas sector, so should probably put some of these generous wages to good use!  I have a lot to learn, so I'd better get cracking and start wading through the forum topics.  I would like to give thanks to all those who have already put up lots of valuable information.
    Have a good weekend

Would be an interesting place to visit, have had clients work there though I'm yet to see the place myself.

Best to put the wages to work and not assume they will last forever!

    Oh so true!

Spent a few years in a mining town in the Pilbara many years ago (unfortunately not on mining wages) and saw many instances of people who had all the toys but no wealth. Then there were others who had used their money wisely and were setting themselves up beautifully.

Make sure you are in the second group.
