Price guides can be found in the rear pages of the Australian Property Investor Magazine.

As for its potential growth and will it increase more in value than Corio, …. it's kind of like asking if we know which numbers will come up in the Tattslotto this weekend.  You need to research the area to understand what new infrastructure will come to the area, jobs etc, and decide for yourself if you think that will cause more people to move to the area.

    Hi,

I noticed you are interested in areas north of Geelong.

Unfortunately I can’t answer your question, but I have recently noticed these areas (searching for cheap property online) and was amazed at how cheap 3 bedroom homes were considering the proximity to Geelong, the bay, and even Melbourne!

I am from Sydney and have never been to these areas but am wondering how they could be so cheap? Do you feel.these areas have solid potential? I am very interested in Norlane.

    Cheers,

    Oz.

    HI ossi89

I have spoken to a few real estate agents, and yes, these areas are starting to gain momentum. Its incredible the value you are buying compared to Melbourne, which is only 40 mins down the fwy. Many investors are interested, and especially buyers from melbourne. The suburbs such as corio, norlane, north shore, have enormous potential for the future, as you can purchase an ex commision home, usually on a very large suburban block. The large land enables the investor to perhaps subdivide in the future. Do the research and explore the potential.
