    Hi all

    I have recently migrated to Australia from NZ and am looking for a decent tax consultant/accountant in the Brisbane area. I still have a few of my rentals in NZ, which my NZ accountant takes care of tax-wise.

    Can anyone recommend a good tax accountant in the Brisbane area please?
    Preferrably one that charges per structure/property and not per hour. (Not sure if they even do that over here….)

    Any help would be much appreciated :)

    Hi Namz,

    Tony Hoffman from Hoffman Kelly (Ph 3394 2311) does all my structures, some of which can be quite complicated. He has many investors / developers as clients and is an investor / developer in his own right.

    Don't forget to tell your accountant about your NZ investment properties as you will may need to include them in your Australian tax return.

    Let us know if you are still looking for a property accountant and i can recommend you to mine who is based on the Northern part of the Gold Coast.

    He has acted for me for the last 15 years and deals with all of my property returns.

    Forum member and also acts for litterally dozens of my forum member clients.
