    Hi all,

I have installed solar power on my primary residence but am gonig to be declaring it to be an investment property soon. The idea is that i am renting out the rooms and all bills are included in the rent.

Apparently my electricity provider charges differently for investment property is that right ? That is if its is not you primary residence.
    Please advise if you know.
    Thank you.

Basically no. Tenants and homeowners pay the same amount per kilowatt hour.

The power / gas / phone co does ask if your renting when you call them to have services connected. But that’s only so they can verify with the agent that you actually live at the address your having the power connected to.

    Hey Mr for the response.

But I plan to rent out the rooms with the rent inclusive of electricity.

Sorry stasani, I dont really understand your question?

What do you mean by “apparently my provider charges differently?”

and, whats stopping you including a flat charge for weekly rent and power / bills ??

I doubt it, but it seems like a pretty simple phone call to find out.
