I was actually hanging around here for a couple of days now and I find this site very interesting. Surely, I would love to mingle with the folks here and exchange thoughts on different areas. Just wanted to ask and would like to get your opinion on property investing since I believe this is the right place to discuss the matter.

Property has proved a relatively secure investment over the past quarter decade in Australia, with returns above 8 per cent in some metropolitan markets, but what should you consider before directing your savings to an investment property?

What do you think are the pros and cons in property investments? Hope to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks.

You have to buy in the right suburb, and in that suburb you have to buy in the right street, and in that street you have to buy the right property. Most importantly, access what are the demographics that you want to access through your investment property. I have just read this insightful property investment tips and it resonates with my property investing philosophy.

    And where would that be??

Come on. You're going to buy property because it has had good returns for 2 1/2 years???

Good on you for starting to think about your investment options but read a LOT more before embarking on any investments.
Go to seminars, read, meet people, discuss.

Or is your post just a plug for the link??

I think you've hit the nail on the head. The post made little sense to begin with.
