    Hi everyone,

I would like to know if there is anyone out there that knows about ozinvest property investing?

I understand they only sell negative geared properties which is brand new with a guarantee rent of up to 10 years.

Since all of you are experienced investors , what are your thoughts?

    thanks

    Hello tminets
Yes the company has been around for a long time.
They sell new property to those that want to listen to there spin.
If anyone is offering guaranteed rent for ten years (and is not the defense force housing scheme), you are the one paying for the guarantee.
We build houses for mum and dads and investors and we could not offer anything like this.
Be careful of the spin doctors (companies that are one stop shops and want to come to your home and show you how you can buy a property).
    Deal direct with the builder.

As has already been said – you are going to pay for the perceived security of a rent guarantee.

They are project marketers – in general these people take between 8 and 15% commission on their sales – again something you pay for. And it looks like they’re into new house and land packages – you can do much better

Oh,m it sounds like the rent guarantee is NRAS. Yes, usually deals like this- the builder builds in the rent on the price. I have not heard of them.

    That's an amazing figure 8-15%!
