I'm about to settle on my second IP in Adelaide. I'm looking at getting a depreciation schedule (went through BMT for my first IP) and have been searching for a fairly low priced report – my BMT report was $715 and I've seen alot cheaper advertised!
My query relates to some surveyors offering very low cost reports where all the property details (rennovations, fixtures, plant etc) are completed by the purchaser and then a report is issued by the surveyor. Just wondering if anyone has used these and if they give the same benefits as having a surveyor do the physical inspection themselves? Yep, I’ve used these type of schedules for older IPs. More specifically, I used the corpred silver package. I have no complaints.

If you call BMT you should be able to get the report for $440.00, that is all our people pay. N.B. New property only!
