    Hi Guys,

As per my building inspection report i need to have some work done on my house.

Specifically "There is some deflection in the Lounge room floor when walking thru the room. This is usually a result of

minor settlement in the stumps. Given the age of the home and dry conditions in recent years some

settlement is not uncommon. The sub floor structure should be checked and stumps and floor joists

packed as required to maintain the floor structure in sound condition. Floors are otherwise in sound

    condition."

I am unsure who to contact to make this happen.

Searching google revealed plenty of people that will 'restump/reblock' the house but as far as i can tell the extent of repairs required on my house are only minor and i don't know what kind of contractor i should be asking to do this work…

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks heaps

    Julieanne
