    Hi everyone.

I have an investment property which I was leasing out for a few years back. Now I want to take it back to live in. I just paid tax land on the whole year amount last month. Does anyone know if I can get a refund (pro rata of course) from OSR since the house is essentially my place of residency now? Thanks

    Regards
    Tony

    Hi Tony,

No refunds.  Unfortunately.  But call the OSR and they will confirm.

    Tony,

Land Tax is paid in arrears on the assessed land value at June 30 so i am unsure how you can expect to claim a refund.

    Cheers

    Thanks for your answers guys.

Doesn't sound like I have a chance…I will call OSR next week to double check. Will confirm back.

    Regards
    Tony
