I got a rental property in archerfield, brisbane. The house is a high set house with just garage and laundry at ground floor which is concrete. The January flooding come up 10cm to the 1st floor. The internal lining is asbesto sheeting for small part of the ground floor and for whole area of the first floor where 3 bed and 1 kitchen are located.
Now I need remove the asbesto affected by the flooding by myself while the insurance only pay the cost for removing the normall wall. Any body know the phone number about reliable asbesto removal tradepeople ? Roughly at how much? Pls I need your help.

I don’t know anyone in Queensland but you might be able to lower your cost if you speak to the tradesman your insurance will send to remove the internal wall. Tradespeople sometimes will do a little extra work, not part of the quote, for a package price.
When one of my units needed re-carpeting due to water damage, I also got the same people to do the other unit not affected by the problem. The insurance paid for one, I paid the other. But since they can do the job in one day, they gave me a discount.
Maybe you can do the same?
