    What have been some techniques you have used to get more rent for your investment properties?

    You can increase your rents by adding some amenities. I took a used computer and added a Magic Jack for

    Free Phone.
    I used a Long range WIFI Boster to get Free Internet

    There is 100% legal box for getting free cable channels.

    You can increase your rents between $50-$150 per apartment just by adding these amenities

    1) Free Phone
    2) Free Internet
    3) Free Cable

    Allowing pets. It's not easy for tenants with pets to find a place that will accomodate their fury friends. For that reason, allowing pets usually means a higher rent.

    Buy well.. add wall mounted TV, Aircon, face lift reno, paint , nice kitchen bathroom, as above pets ok, etc
