    Hello,

I realise this is not an insurance forum but you guys are just the best and I thought someone may be able to point me in the right direction.

I work in a profession that is a little fickle and redundancy is a concern for me… hopefully not a real one.

I have a mortgage insurance that would cover my loan payments + a little bit in the event of involuntary unemployment for a max term of 4 months. It also have strict criteria of being registered wtih centrelink and being available for any work etc.

I have been doing a bit of research to see what else is available to either have in addition to the above cover or in place of but to be honest it seems there is little cover for redundancy that is not very similar to the above.

Does anyone have or know of good income protection to cover in the event of involuntary unemployment/redundancy?
