    Hi,
Just have a question how people find both bankwest or AMP? Have found that Bankwest have a lower variable rate than AMP but are extremely hard to deal with. However AMP have been the opposite.

Bankwest lite variable: does not allow a 99% and 1% tenants in common ratio only a 90/10. – 6.7%

AMP- allow 99/1 split and are – 6.77

    Any recommendations?

I know I have a love affair with the majors but CBA, ANZ and NAB will all beat that rate. I’d pass on the AMP option – their ability to look after you in the future is limited because they don’t offer all the options / flexibility a major does.

How much is the loan and why not go with a major?

    BankWest regularly have problems…

Only thing AMP going for them is that in certaint Professions they have an excellent Executive package and also a very aggresive serviceability model especially for investors.

Haven't had any trouble with bankwest after 4+ years, with the exception of them wanting $325 p/a in fees for a LOC, which might prompt me to move….
