Hi newbie here.could someone please tell me as very rough guide and if there was no such thing as council regs what size of a rectangular block could u develop 4 two storey town house with 3 bedrooms on i.e 2 facing each other.Minimum 1000m squared ? Thanks for any help provided. Much appreciated
That sounds like a bit too much of a squeeze I would guess at 1200m squared. Need to really get a designer or architect as you have to allow for driveways (Width), turning circles, distance from street, over looking neighbours, outdoor backyard space.
Each council is different.
You might be able to get more on with 2 bedrooms but designer / architect would be able to advise you more accurately..Employ a local private town planner may be another way to go.
