    Hi,
Just wanted to know thoughts on buying in Mt.Isa in next couple of months. I'm looking at getting a 2 storey 3 bedroom place for around 300's and renovating it.  With the current market and RSPT uncertainty I'm not sure on the viability, prices have seemed to steadily come down in the last 12 months according to the statistics, but these stats can be skewed due to the number and type of houses being sold.  My plan was to renovate, revalue and use the equity (hopefully) gained to purchase another property elsewhere and eventually move away. Am I dreaming ? What are others thoughts on Mt.Isa for investing or have i missed the plane?

Update: Finding this in the daily newspaper didnt really help my concerns.

please anyone have any history or currently investing in this town?
