    Hello All,

I’m wondering if you can help me, I’m using the Property Analyser on http://www.ipropertyco.com and it seems to be very good. Interestingly the depreciation estimates that are built into the program are very accurate when compared to my Depreciation Schedule. However when I go to some of the free depreciation schedule sites, their estimates are way off in comparison even though they are sites managed by the large quantity surveyors.

The reason I ask is that I’m trying to work out what the standard formula would be for depreciation. The people at http://www.ipropertyco.com have obviously worked out something fairly accurate but the quantity surveyors themselves can’t.

Does anyone know anything about how these calculations are derived?

    Cheers!
