    Hi DWolfe

I am glad that you posted this comment as I also sent an email a  couple of weeks ago but received no reply either and have been wondering what is going on. Have not received any further emails from them since I got the original invoice when I paid for the conference…so now that I know that someone  has actually received their tickets and other relevent information I will try and email them again to find out where my tickets are!

Have to say, I do not have ticket numbers!? I think there is to be another email. If you guys haven't heard anything I would ring the PI.com office rather than emailing. It is getting pretty close. If I get any more emails I'll post on here that way you guys will know if you are not getting them. Seeya in a couple days.

Wow, glad to hear that there's going to be so many people heading to Melbourne for the conference.

    I live in Melbourne and this'll be the third conference in a row I've been to. Steve has promised that he'll be taking it around the country (Sydney was last year, and I think that Brisbane / Adelaide will be next year, but don't quote me on that). Just to answer a few of the questions in this thread;

You can't video or record any of the talks, but pen & paper is fine.
If you're coming down from Brisbane, it will be cold!
The range of topics discussed means that there'll be something for you, but maybe something that you're not too interested in.
There's a little bit of a sell for the speakers, but they're not hard sells and you'll learn something from all the speakers.
Peter Daniels was at the conference last year and was a hoot. The guy just loves gold (who doesn't)…..

If anyone attending has any questions, feel free to ask and I'll try and reply.

The impression I’ve got is that there are multiple rooms with different speakers and we have to decide what to go and listen to.

Is that the impression others have got?

If “yes”, have they told us that workshops are on at which time yet?

Yeah I thought it was the select a speech type event. Anyone have any idea of how many people will be at this thing?

This is the only thing I’ve seen: https://www.propertyinvesting.com/seminars/2010-conference

Is there more information on when each workshop is (and on which day?). I emailed the P.I. office on Friday but got no reply.

Hmm. Imagine how snowed under they are with this event.

The conference has some 'keynote' speakers who speak to the whole conference, with three or four workshops per day on different subjects (some of the workshops are repeated so if you can't make one session you'll have another chance later).

As to the number of people attending, it's in the hundreds! I'm not sure exactly, but the last couple of years I'd guess that 400-500 people were there. I've been to the venue before, and it's a big audotorium, just like being back at Uni.

Have just seen this post now.
It will be my 3rd Mega Conference in a row, too.
I am sure there will be a degree of selling, but you don't have to buy. There will be so much to learn there ie in the 3 days, that everyone will benefit.

I am from Sydney too, find it worth the journey and accomodation.
In 2003 I went to the Gold Coast to hear Robert Kiyosaki. It was inspirational, very challenging and I was a novice.
Covered property, shares, business. Learnt heaps, but not all info related to Aussie investors.
Cost? $6000. Plus airfares and accom at Jupiter's where it was held. And it has paid dividends in our investing.
Mega Conf is a bargain, way cheaper! And aimed at Aussie investors. And will pay dividends into your investing.

Content at Mega Conf is similar to Kiyosaki, ie covers various fields of investing, it's about financial education in general.
If you don't go away with lots of practical content which helps you move forward, then I will be astonished.

Yeah after seeing the program if we don't take home a LOT of information that will help our investing I'll be very surprised. And as for selling, there is selling everywhere. You just take the add breaks on TV for granted now…

Can I still buy a spare conference ticket?

There's a few postings from people with conference tickets spare, have a look around. I know that some people pull out at the last minute and Steve's people may be able to get buyers and sellers together (that's how I got my first conference ticket, if memory serves). It may be worth giving them a call, but be patient with them: They're going to be busy at the moment, some type of conference thing happening…….

    J900,

I sold a spare one last Friday. PI are not doing name transfers during May (only prior to May) so sorry, you may be out of luck even if you can find someone who is selling them. Your only option now is to buy one at full price

If you go to the web site it says there are only 7 tickets left https://www.propertyinvesting.com/seminars/2010-conference (if I were you I’d buy one even though you’re paying a couple of hundred more than people last week – just swallow your pride and think to yourself: where else can you get 30 full hours of expert information for only $33 per hour – its still an absolute bargain!)

Note: you collect your ticket at the conference by presenting ID.

Have you guys received your conference tickets yet? I'm about to head off to Melbourne tomorrow morning, but haven't received anything in the mail…

Everything is organized E.g. Transportation, accommodation. The only thing I'm missing is the '3 day mega conference ticket'

No haven’t received them. I thought (but may be wrong) that you collect them on registration at the conference centre.
