He is an investment property consultant, has been investing for over 10 years, a certified life coach and an Oz Invest Salesperson. Simon will be presenting investment hot spots & with an in-depth look on how to identify them.Greg Brierley – "Know Your Financing"
He is the principal of Frontline Home Loans a Canberra base mortgage broking company. Has been an active investor for a number of years, with a couple of projects on the go. Greg will be sharing with you his case study.Yvonne Thomas – "The Future of the Property Network Group"
Is the organizer of the group and has always been involved with property groups & investing. Has been in a variety of businesses for over 15 years & recently moved to Canberra. Yvonne will be sharing with you the future of the group. Plus looking for your input.Date – Wednesday 21st April 2010
Time – 6.30pm – 8.30pm

My wife and I are moving to Canberra in July this year and will be looking to get started in property. Looking for a do'er upper in the ACT. Is this meeting on every month? Week? Sounds like a great idea

The meeting is on every third Wednesday in the month, with different speakers.
It's a great way to meet other property like minded people for sure.I put a post on PI.com each month with the information the speakers will be covering and the date.
The July one is on the 21st, depending on when your shifting in the month though.
It will be great to have you both along!Have fun moving… I moved here at the end of last year & it's been great.

Just interested to know if these meetings are still occurring? I'm currently living in Canberra and looking to save save save in 2011 and buy reno sell x 3 in 2012 with the help of my newly retired father. Been trawling through websites and books on investing and personal finance for a few years now and have used shares and managed funds but want to get stuck into property as well and wish to start building a team and learning from people around Canberra. Also willing to slave myself out like jonathan to pick up some skills and see what other investors are doing on the ground.I'll check this post from time to time and look forward to hearing from you.

Yes we are currently looking at 2011 plans for the meetings and still working out a few details.
I will post on pi.com to let fellow Canberra investors know more about them otherwise I'm sure Jonathan will tell you more as he gets my emails with updates.Looking forward to 2011 lots happening.

I’m looking at kicking them off again in Spring as I haven’t had enough hours this first half of the year to put them together, due to other commitments. They have been a great way for people to network, hear from other investors & from local people/businesses.
As soon as I have some concrete dates & times I will post the details on here for Canberra investors.
