    Hi guys,

My friends just brought a house. The settlement was originally set at 27.03.10.

Therefore, my friends are going to move out from current rented apartment on 27.03.

However, the agent called my friends just now said the owner’s daughter wants to delay settlement a week. The owner has moved to Canada that’s the reason the owner sold house.

The agent told me friends they could not deny this request. Because “Green book” has a clause that stats owner has right to extend settlement.

Can you guys please shed a light on how my friend should do in this situation?

    Thanks a lot!
