    Hi,

New member here, please forgive any questions that may have been asked before.

I have found a product and bank that will give me a loan in my SMSF to buy commercial property (all legals, deeds included so no need for lawyer).

All I need now is a good property accountant in Brisbane / Gold Coast to get this done prior to June 30

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Olli

Sorry I can't help you with the necessary accountants details but I've got to say that I'd never consider not using a solicitor to assist with a property purchase.

I'm a keen"bush lawyer" ;-) but the things the lawyers have picked up in the past that I've completely missed, have saved me lots more than their fees.

    Cheers,  Paul

One lawyer is advising that some banks are arranging SMSF loan documents which could result in doubt CGT being paid – so it would certainly pay to get independent legal advice before signing any loan agreements.

    Olli,

I reckon you need a person or firm who is the following:

    1. CPA or Chartered Accountant
    2. SMSF Specialist Advisor with SPAA
    3. Holds an AFSL (will be required for any and all who advise on SMSF borrowings / Instalment Warrants as per Gov press releases)
    4. Experience in similar transactions

    All the best

    Cheers
