    G'day all…
Just a quick question.. I have an IP which is currently leased until Feb 2010. I would like to do a quick fix up of the bathroom which a plumber has advised me will take possibly two days (new vanity, bath shower screen and some re-jigging of waste pipes). My porperty manager has advised me this would not be possible while the tenants have a lease. I am interested in going back to my PM, checking the movements of the tenants and possibly arranging around a weekend or weekday where they may be away for the Christmas holiday period. Is this feasible? Any help would be appreciated. In the end the tenant will benefit in the short term, and it will also allow me to add another $10 to the weekly rent when the lease comes back up. Cheers

should be possible with their consent. Maybe you could offer an incentive.

yeah I had thought of that before but my property manager didnt like the idea… I suppose as my property manager she is working for me and should have my interests at heart.. and I'm sure the tenants wouldn't really mind if it saved them a weeks rent.
