    Hi Everyone,

I'm looking at making an offer on a 2 bedroom duplex, (just the the one unit),
Longterm I'd like the ability to add value and aside from re-freshing the interior I'd like to be able to add a small extension.
Just wondering if anyone's gone down this path and if the process is different from adding an extension to a house?

    Thanks

    Evan

There isnt too much difference, unless you extend the wall adjacent to the second unit. Then you have to use a different building method/system. If you are extending away from the other duplex, then you should have no issues, providing you are not encroaching on any boundris etc

    hope this helps

    good luck
