    Hi fellow investors,

I have around 2-3K worth of damages in my property which has been caused by rain and paint damage. The damages are in the balcony area and are currently getting worse (the amount is an estimate, from what I can see).

My property is only 1 year old, and I moved into it around 7 months ago. The builder has been liquidated, and there is no Home Warranty Insurance and there is no recourse available from the liquidator.

My question here is, is there anything I can do to claim back some of the cost of fixing the damages? If so, from who?

This may sound silly but wouldn't Builders Warranty be available as the builder would of been insured whilst building your place? Otherwise you may have to claim through your insurance/Body Corporate

    Thanks for your response maree.

There is no Builders Warranty as the building is more than 3 levels.
