    Hi

We are currently getting quotes for our new PPOR and would like to know more about flooring options.

I have heard that bamboo is cheaper than other hardwood flooring but is it durable and hard wearing?

    Thanks in adavance.

Hi – we are going bamboo downstair in our PPOR. Upstairs has floorboards under the carpet. We are going the wider board – seem to get more play on the wood tones imho. Definately half the price of real floorboards and is a 2 day process versus 4 weeks for the real floorboards. We have pets so the toughness of the bamboo was paramount for us

Thanks for the that.  I need to go into various showrooms and start investigating this properly.

    Thanks again
