    Hi all

I am asking this question on behalf of someone who has bought a block of land from me.

I have had buiding plans approved with Council.  The young girl who has bought the vacant block really likes the house plans but is not in a position to build for about 6 – 12 months.  I know that in order to qualify for the First Home Owners' Boost you just need to sign a contract with a builder before 30 Sept 09.

Does anyone know the timeframe that the house has to be built in?  Or commenced in?  Or whether there are any time restrictions at all once the building contract has been signed?

    Cheers

I think building has to commence in 24 weeks and be completed in 18 months.
