Abbreviations and definitions

I'm new to this investing game and trying to find out as much as I can before I start meetings with the lenders, accountants etc.
It occurs to me, and having just done a search for abbreviations, it might be helpful if the website had an area for general information (eg the different types of trust available), which could perhaps be updated wikipedia style from time to time.

Similarly, if contributors could be kind enough to resist the temptation to use these investing / finance and internet type abbreviations it would be most helpful for us Luddites who don't have a clue what they are on about.
