    hi all,

hope someone can help me to clarify about the FHOG.

I am planning to purchase a property with my brother, by using both our name.

the question is, will we be able to use my FHOG? considering he have had a house under his name?

    cheers

all people on the title must qualify.

So if he has owned a property before 2001 he won't qualify. If he had owned a rental property, but not an owner occupied property after 2001, he might still be ok.
